Optimity is proud to announce the extension of the Optimity application to more business units at one of the world’s leading industrial technology producers of digitally connected and enabled industrial equipment and systems. The company operates in over 100 countries and employs 136 000 people. After a successful Optimity implementation 2 years ago within one of their major power delivery divisions, the customer has decided to achieve the same positive KPIs by rolling out the application to further business units in the division.
Production for this division relies on complex range of materials for transmission stations – so it’s critical that stock levels are managed precisely. So, by replicating their existing implementation of Optimity ABC Analyzer and Inventory Optimizer, the focus of the project is two-fold: firstly to improve availability of inbound material, and secondly to simultaneously optimize stock levels to reduce tying up capital.
