Gartner has recognized Optimity as a notable vendor in a recent Magic Quadrant report focused on Supply Chain Planning for midmarket enterprises*. The report refers to solutions that are cost-effective, user-friendly, and easy and fast to implement.

Due to Optimity’s support for end-to-end supply chain planning and its focus on helping companies improve and mature supply chain planning processes, Optimity is well-qualified to be a vendor in the review.

Optimity market differentiation

In particular, Optimity was noted due to its focus on consumer products and food and beverage companies with under $1billion in  revenue, which, the report says, “results in deep domain expertise by the vendor, and a vendor roadmap that is highly relevant to consumer product and food and beverage manufacturers.

The customer references for the review indicated satisfaction with the product’s functionality. Most of the customer references “reported that they are planning to deploy and use additional functionality from the vendor.”

Optimity is a functionally rich supply chain planning solution built specifically for midmarket enterprises, backed up by a team with advanced knowledge and experience in supply chain planning for the segment. As such, Optimity typically delivers rapid ROI and positively impacts the supply chain maturity of an organization.

Gartner recommends that midmarket companies use this report when evaluating supply chain planning systems of record and make several recommendations regarding how to assess vendors.
