SYDNEY, Australia, October 25, 2019 – Optimity Software, a global leader in demand and supply chain planning software for manufacturers with complex supply chains, today announced Fredrik Avellen as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand.
Fred’s appointment brings years of operations and management experience – both as a global supply chain director and as an Optimity customer with Allied Pinnacle, Australia’s largest bakery ingredients provider.
Fred is a passionate change manager with a strong track record of delivering long-term business value. With experience from a broad range of industries, including FMCG, medical devices, food services, and airlines, Fred has a solid tactical and strategic understanding and knows what it takes to bring about lasting change.
Following the merger of Allied Mills and Pinnacle Bakery & Integrated Ingredients, Fred was an instrumental member of the leadership team, successfully merging, streamlining, and optimizing operations.
